END PUNCHING MACHINES
Carson Engineering builds a line of hole punching
equipment for the production of header tubes. These
machines come in two basic versions, manually operated
and semi-automatic.
MODEL CHP-1H AND MODEL CHP-1MP TUBE PUNCH MACHINES
These are manually loaded and operated machines. Model
CHP-1H is hydraulic powered, while the Model CHP-1MP is
pneumatically powered and controlled.
Carson punch machines all produce flat
holes, punching from the outside to the inside of the
tube. There are many advantages to this process of
hole-making, the two most important are speed and
cleanliness. This process produces a slug as waste
rather than chips, no lubricant is required. These
machines are fast and accurate and widely used in the
HVAC industry, the machine shown below is CHP-1H.

MODEL AHP-2A SEMI-AUTOMATED TUBE
PUNCH MACHINE
The AHP-2A is a 2-axis, computer controlled automatic
punch machine. It is similar in function to the manually
operated machines but the operator simply loads and
unloads the parts and the machine makes all the
necessary movements. The part programs are stored in a
database and recalled as needed, the database can be
backed up to protect against loss. The operator is
guarded by a safety light curtain. Often an end closing
machine is placed in close proximity so that one
operator can run both machines.
FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF MODEL AHP-2A TUBE
